What you should know about learning disabilities
Students are asked to collect information about a learning disability and convey it through a PowerPoint presentation or informational pamphlet. They should research the general characteristics of the disability, its impact on life outside the classroom and general supports or treatments. They have to find historical figures or famous people with the same disability. Students are invited to include personal experiences.
