This 4 minute clip from "The Pursuit of Happyness" shows how the protagonist managed to impress positively a group of interviewers in spite of his dishevelled appearance. Students can listen to past simple and continuous forms and to modals for deductions in the past. There is a comprehension quiz but no notes.
