Video: Pocahontas saves John Smith
This 5 minute clip from the Disney cartoon in historically accurate and teaches a lot about living in peace. Students may discuss what they would have done if they had been the Indian chief or John Smith. Then they might tell what they know about American colonization. We can listen to "would" for conditionals and for past habits. There is a comprehension quiz but no transcript.
