Video: Catalysis
This animation shows how reactions are driven by energy changes and how enzymes, as catalysts, increase the rates at which reactions take place. By hovering with our mouse over the reactions we can interactively see the time it takes when catalized or uncatalyzed. We learn about Gibbs free energy, the transition state and catalytic converters in cars.
